Does any of this sound like you?
When you do sit down to get things done, is it hard to focus on your work or do one thing at a time?
Do you have a whole list of things on your to-do list that you’d love to get to, but you always seem to be overtaking by emergencies or others’ priorities?
Do you struggle to set goals that actually reflect what matters to you—instead of everyone else?
Do you feel like you’re spinning your wheels multi-tasking instead of making progress on what matters to you?
Do you wish you could amplify your impact, but you’re too busy always putting out fires?
Do you come to the end of a day/week/month and you wonder where all your time went (because it wasn’t spent on what matters to you)?
Are you stuck in the dreaming phase of projects, seemingly forever?
Are you sure what you want to do—and how you want to make an impact—you’re just not sure how to set up the rituals and routines to make it happen?
That was me, to the letter. For years, my dreams languished. I never felt like I was making progress on what mattered to me. I would lose steam half-way through projects or feel overwhelmed by the number of things I’d taken on—and feel like I was half-assing everything.
And can we be honest? 2020 was hard.
Maybe it wasn’t The Worst for you, but I’m willing to bet it’s been (at minimum) Very Complicated. And when things are hard—or at least, very complicated—big questions come up. When the days blend together, it’s easy to see how we are spending our lives. And if you don’t like what you see? If you’re longing for more or different?
In short: a year of mentorship so that you can sift through your overwhelm and find what matters most—to you. I’ll guide you in showing up for those things that matter most to you: with your whole heart, with your full integrity. And I’ll teach you how to transform all of your caring into real impact.
each month will focus on a different aspect of the Sacred Focus framework—delivered with video lessons, workbook practices, audio meditations, and live coaching calls so you can get all the support you need!
For the 2021 cycle of Sacred Focus, I am only accepting 20 students.
There are currently <strike>20</strike> 10 spaces remaining.
Future coaching calls will take place one Tuesday per month at 1pm, with dates for the remainder of 2021 shared in late spring. All office hours calls will be recorded and shared. All times Pacific.
While I guarantee the best of my teaching, due to the limited enrollment size and the digital nature of the program, I do not offer refunds. This is a year-long commitment.
It began with a well-worn complaint to my husband, while juggling my overcommitted schedule: “I’m so overwhelmed! I feel like I’m doing a million things and letting everybody down. Why do I keep doing this to myself?!” I expected something warm, yet non-specific in response.
He turned to me, and said, “I don’t know. Why do you keep doing this to yourself?”
Boom. Why did I, in fact, keep doing this to myself? And could I just… stop?
Sacred Focus aims to subvert what we’ve been taught we should care about and learn how to care for what actually matters to us.
This is the step-by-step framework I used to de-overwhelm my life for good, so I could start treating the most important parts of my life like they actually mattered.
I know this story intimately, as an activist who struggles with multiple mental health diagnoses; as a mom who loves her family and wants to carve out her own sovereignty; and as a soft-hearted person who didn’t know where to start when it came to making her mark on the world, when there were so many places to help.
I’ve broken it down into bite-sized pieces, so it’s easily digestible (and never overwhelming), even if you’re an overachieving people-pleaser like me.
Sacred Focus is for anyone who wants to make a bigger impact, while living a meaningful life.
