Episode 43—How to Cultivate Trust in Yourself
About the show
Today, we are talking about one of my very favorite topics, which is trust and specifically: how we cultivate trust with ourselves. I think that this is.
This is one area that I keep coming back to, again and again, in my work, because I think that in our culture, in our societies, there is so much stacked against us in terms of our ability to trust ourselves.
Where are the places where we have trouble accessing our own trust? Where are the places where we’re denying ourselves our own trust?
Some of this has to do with some of the myths and the misconceptions around trust. We hear these, grandiose cliches that are like leap and the net will appear. And I think that’s actually terrible advice.
