I want to build a more compassionate world.

No matter where I’ve been on my winding path, that’s always been the goal.

I began my activist work in high school, received my bachelor’s degree in poetry, and later received certifications in yoga, Thai massage, and energy work. Along the way, I became a passionate climate justice activist; and built a body of work that’s a safe haven for thousands of changemakers, healers, and people making bold change in the world.

Over the years, I’ve facilitated trainings for thousands of activists. I’ve coordinated activist events all over the U.S. and Canada. I’ve led hundreds of yoga classes and online self-care workshops.

All in the name of building a more compassionate world.

And I’m obsessed with helping people
become as skilled in advocating for
themselves as they are for everyone else.

When I was 24, I went through my own flameout: a combination of exhaustion, chronic pain, depression, and PTSD nearly took me down for the count. It was rough, but I didn’t want that to stop me from making an impact. Over the years, I’ve evolved a unique approach to self-care that lets me keep doing my changing-making work.

Now I serve thousands of change-makers, healers, teachers and artists all over the globe. In this work, I weave together self-care, sacred practice, and irreverent rebellion.

I know from talking to thousands of rebellious humans
that it’s easy to take up a cause or serve others.
Learning to advocate for yourself is advanced work.
(And that’s exactly what we do here.)

When we become self-advocates, we are empowered in creating rock-solid boundaries, meeting our deepest needs, and learning to use our voices in a way that people will hear.

Being effective isn’t about doing more. It’s not about martyring ourselves.

Instead, it’s about giving generously and authentically. It’s speaking confidently from our hard-won experience. And it’s about owning our role as leaders in our families, communities, and world.

In these times, we need to take care of ourselves and each other. It’s time to cultivate self-advocacy as an art form, develop a spiritual practice that feels like home, and step into our roles as leaders of the revolution.
