Each week, I round up some of my favorite self-care resources from around the web. Ideas for healing, joy, justice, and well-being. These are the self-care tips and resources that I believe in, that I use in my own life. I hope they serve you.

I love playing board games with friends – it’s a lovely alternative to happy hour – and these looks so great: Bloc by Bloc (coming soon) and Suffragetto (a historial board game, recently rediscovered!)

I don’t wear much makeup, day-to-day, but when I want to femme it up, eyebrow pencils are one of my favorite tools to look super put-together. (Really, I can’t believe I waited as long as I did. I’m smitten.) This one from Jane Iredale is great.

Marina Abramović: Advice to the Young – on the drive to create, the value of failure, and all kinds of other brilliance. She is one of my very favorites.

If the Swedish tradition of fika isn’t my kind of self-care, I’m not sure what is:

“fika, the twice-daily ritual (used as a noun or a verb, in case you were wondering) in which you stop what you’re doing and go have coffee and pastries. And those pastries are mostly kanelbullar, a Swedish take on cinnamon buns, unfrosted and often with other spices like cardamom mixed in.”

Count me in.

After nearly 9 years of swearing to me that he hates it, my husband is finally on the kombucha train. He loves the Gingerade flavor from G.T.’s. Go figure.
